  • The Gary Public Transportation Corporation (GPTC) is inviting public comment on its plan to fulfill responsibilities and duties of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
    Leaders in local public transportation discussed new services being offered to riders. Watch the live-stream video to learn about:
    • This “Title VI Plan” will be available for review at our offices during normal business hours (8AM-4:00PM) from April 18, 2022 until May 16, 2022.
    • The plan will also be posted online at www.gptcbus.com during that period.
  • The main office of the Gary Public Transportation Corporation is on the third floor of the Adam Benjamin, Jr. Metro Center at 100 W. 4th Avenue in Gary, IN 46402.
    • Our Operations Facility is located at 2101 W. 35th Avenue Gary, IN 46408.
    • Written comments should be addressed to our main office to the attention of David W. Wright, Title VI Officer.
