The Broadway Express operates every 30 minutes during peak hours along Broadway from downtown Gary to 93^rd Avenue, then west to the Lake County Government Center in northern Crown Point. In Gary (north of 53rd Avenue) this bus ONLY stops at designated transfer points and at major traffic generators. In Merrillville, stops not on the schedule (i.e. 68th Avenue, 75th Avenue) should be called a block before you wish to exit the bus.

Key stops include the Metro Center, The Gary YWCA (at 15th Avenue), Indiana University Northwest, Ultra Foods, Merrillville Town Hall, Century Plaza, Southlake Methodist, the Veterans Administration Clinic, and the Lake County Government Center.

The Broadway Express provides connections to the South Shore commuter rail, local and express bus routes at the Metro Center. It also provides the following transit connections on Broadway:
