Fares

The fare for all local routes, routes that stay in the city limits of Gary is $1.25.

GPTC designates as express any route that serves areas outside of the city of Gary.

For express routes the fare is $2.00.

If you board any express route in Gary and exit the bus before leaving the city limits the fare is $1.25.

If you board the Circular (Route 20) you pay $2.00 you can transfer to the South Broadway at no additional expenses. You can also transfer from South Broadway to the Tri-City Connection at no additional cost. This feature is available on all express routes. You can board in East Chicago and ride to Crown Point for $2.00.
